About
Sharon Kourt, LCSW-R
Sharon Kourt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults and couples navigating challenging life transitions, trauma, and relational stress. With an additional focus on working with service-based professionals and first
responders, Sharon brings deep respect and
understanding to those facing high-intensity roles
and the unique emotional burdens that come with
them.

therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT),
Internal Family Systems (IFS), and recovery-focused
therapies, tailoring treatment to each individual
with compassion, insight, and flexibility. She
believes strongly in the human capacity for growth
and transformation, emphasizing the power of
self-awareness, reprocessing past experiences, and
shifting perspectives to make empowered life
choices.

Sharon is known for her warm, open, and nonjudgmental therapeutic style, creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She engages with each client’s personal history, culture, and identity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and foster lasting change.
